It begins to feel like Christmas - for buyers of 2015 Corvette C7 Z06, with warning lights lighting up like a Christmas tree

As the reports of  the dreaded CEL lighting up the dashboards of the brand new Z06 flagships, within a few miles of driving, it is hard not to get in a very festive mood, seeing all these shiny lights.

Considering the inability of the +General Motors dealerships not just to fix the problems but even locate proper diagnostic procedures and LOL, electronic components themselves, chances are very good that a few of these new flagships will be spending Christmas all alone in the dealerships service bays, instead of owners tastefully decorated garages.

And here is a piece of advice for the Z06 owners going through this hardship: why not just have the darn thing towed to the house, push it into the living room and let the engine diagnostics light up the mood instead of the traditional Christmas tree?  There is plenty of clearance under the factory lifted car to stash quite a few presents and enjoy the jolly season.  Certainly, seems like a more constructive use of the flagship than leaving it at the dealership and likely a subject to casual visitors trying it for size?

Hopefully, next year, GM will be able to figure out how to fix these cars and teach dealership technicians how to go about it but until then, no reason not to put the car to a better use.
