Is General Motors holding UAW responsible for horrible quality and workmanship of Corvette C7 Stingray?

Interesting turn of events, UAW 2164 was apparently fired last week, the same week when production of 2015 Corvette Stingray started.  Is this a coincidence, shell game or legitimate effort to improve the truly awful quality of the newest Corvette?

As it is, the newest Corvette is a real piece of shit, no questions about it.  From poorly designed parts, inferior quality parts, all the way to missing or overfilled fluids, epoxied broken fenders, spray can quality paint jobs, countless leaks and engines, torque tubes and rear differentials disintegrating at will, the newest Corvette is a true disgrace.

There is no question that UAW mobsters are responsible for a more than fair share of the problems associated with the new Corvette.  Issues like overfilled engine oil cannot be blamed on anyone except for the crew assembling these cars.  The examples of shoddy workmanship are countless, just as the examples of management failing to catch many of these issues.

Eldon Renaud seems like a true shady union crook, plenty of evidence that union members had ongoing issues with this guy, most likely a good motivation for the Bowling Green employees to sabotage their own work, hoping for a change.  Seems like Mary Recall Barra is willing to play along and fired the union mobster.  Will things improve at the plant?  Most likely they will not, the union is still there, with Detroit pulling strings and union members still not motivated to put in a good quality work for the money +General Motors pays them.

To the GM's credit, this is an excellent publicity stunt, aimed at baiting more suckers to buy the newest Corvette.  Yes, the quality of the car will improve miraculously, including better paint quality, LOL.

The sad reality is that nothing will change, no magic took place at the plant, same UAW crew is still there and firing one instead of all means absolutely nothing, well, except for hope for more sales, at least initially.

Now, the question is, why someone like this guy would be elected to be the local's president in the first place?  There is no doubt that things will get better now, NOT!!!
