Gotta give it to +General Motors and the fine Corvette design and engineering team led by +Tadge Juechter : they certainly know how to peddle the marketing bullshit in lieu of actual performance and do it so well that the example they set will remain undefeated for years to come.
After several months of rumors, here it is finally, the long anticipated Corvette Z06 C7.R. The rumors surrounding this spectacular new car fed the imagination of the hardcore +General Motors nuthuggers to the boiling point and finally, here it is...
So what sets this fine car apart from the rest of the Z06 models and what exactly makes it such a fitting tribute to the actual racing Corvette C7R?
Is it the engine and the rest of the drivetrain? Has Juechter's team come up with a valid track worthy normally aspirated engine or at least provided the buyers with cooling system upgrades and perhaps a more capable supercharger? NOPE, nothing of the kind can be found on this "tribute" car.
How about coilovers replacing the horse carriage style leaf spring suspension, providing adjustability and better road compliance, just like the real C7R has? NOPE, no such thing.
How about the improved aerodynamics and rear wing, reducing the performance robbing drag? NOPE, no such thing.
How about light weight racing buckets and option for five point harness? NOPE, no such thing...
So what the fuck is exactly added to the Z06 porker to distinguish it from the other Z06 turds?
Well... how about some fancy stripes, some exposed carbon fiber, yellow calipers and "sueded" interior!!!
Yup, this is apparently the ticket for the new Z06 to finally complete the Nurburgring lap and eliminate the super excessive drag and overheating issues... Yeah, this is how they do in GM!!!
So what does the R really stands for? Race? Hmmm... how about RICE!!! Absolutely pathetic but certainly not surprising at all. Still the same piece of shit car more prone to blowing its motor than ever completing the Nurburgring run or breaking 190 mph... LMAO!!!
Why not make this piece of shit wear the kool aid color to complete the effect?

i guess we can all understand why i say gm is a Garbage Motor Company.
