Maybe the Corvette Racing Team should switch to the upcoming Corvette Z06 C7.R instead of running the real thing?  As much as +Tadge Juechter brags about the crosslink between the C7 Z06 and C7.R cars (and they really have nothing in common at all, right down to the permanent roof and that "obsolete" LS7 based motor). 

Nevertheless, maybe the vinyl stripes on the "commemorative edition C7.R" would prevent Magnussen from crashing even before qualifying for Le Mans.  If this was the chicken shit excuse not to disclose the Nurburgring result, it is no longer there... Tough luck for +General Motors and Tadge...
