I see that the numbnuts from +GMAuthority , in this case, someone named Alex Sizeland continue to spread misinformation regarding +Chevrolet  Corvette C7 and Corvette in general.  Makes you wonder if GM in +GMAuthority  stands for General Motors or GENERAL MISINFORMATION instead?  LOL

I see these tools took up themselves comparison between C7 Z51 and C6Z07.  Directly from this idiotic article:

"The C6 Z06 is without doubt a monster of a car. With a 7.0-liter V8 and 505hp, it’s performance is legendary. This very feel was only enhanced by the weight savings and aggressive characteristics of the Z07 package. The brakes and suspension alone are enough to plaster the driver into the seat."

Now, are these tools, including this genius and the other two, +Manoli Katakis  and +Alex Luft  too lazy or too dumb to look this stuff up?  It just happened that due to larger tires and wheels, this version of Z06 was HEAVIER than the "regular" Z06, thus, there was no continuation of weight savings because as a matter of fact, the car was about HUNDRED pounds heavier than the regular version.  

Of course, none of this really matters considering the C7 Z51 weighs in at 3445 pounds, becoming the heaviest Corvette ever, except for just one Corvette from the late seventies.  Great job as usual tools.

The funny thing is that new Corvette cannot keep up with the regular Z06, due to almost THREE HUNDRED POUNDS extra weight and 55 hp less.  On the bright side, these tools are not the only ones spreading this BS all over the internet, Tadge Juechter gets the cake for sure.
