Corvette C7 Stingray is not a GLOBAL car-another failed General Motors stunt

In the beginning, +Tadge Juechter ,  Tom Peters, Kirk Bennion and the rest of the great Corvette C7 design team spent quite a bit of time promoting the new Corvette as a GLOBAL CAR.  Global car term is used frequently by car manufacturers to describe a platform designed to be used throughout the entire world, with only minor modifications and easily adaptable to local safety laws and traffic laws.  Cars like Ford Focus, Ford Fiesta, Porsche 911 and FORD MUSTANG are just a few examples of global cars.  Why is FORD MUSTANG a global car?  Because Ford is smarter than the General Motors marketing and

Enter Corvette C7 and +General Motors delusional claims regarding Corvette being a global car.  Well, is it?  Do front bumper "fangs" and light modifications is all what it takes for Corvette to be a global car?  Here is the problem:  Just like the fat pig Camaro, Corvette is not offered as a right hand drive!!!

So much for delusional claims from GM and Juechter, given the choice between new Mustang that just happened to offer not just right hand drive but also independent rear suspension,  comparable horse power and rear seat (not just for utility but most importantly for lower insurance rates), it is not much of a puzzle which car will be bought by those outside of USA looking for American muscle.  Of course, it comes without saying that the potential global buyers would have to be blind to bypass the ongoing horrible fit and finish and truly revolting paint quality the new Corvette offers.

Keep dreaming Juechter.  Good thing those idiotic fangs are there to remind everyone how much of a global failure this new Corvette really is.
