Old and dull people continue to endorse Corvette C7 Stingray

On the surface, having people with public recognition endorse the new Corvette sounds like a great publicity for the car.  In reality, having  people who are old and dull going ooh and ah over this new car amounts to public admission the buyers are not getting younger, they are just getting duller and more bland. 

Here are two examples of old geezers, one a self proclaimed financial guru, Dave Ramsey and the other, Obama's cohort and douchebag extraordinaire, Joe Biden.  Honestly, the golf playing AARP crowd is the only one that could get excited about these events.  As a car buyer, I would find this kind of endorsements very insulting while shopping for a high performance car.
