A staggering number of 1500 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray remain unsold!!!

As much as +General Motors , +Tadge Juechter and GM nut hugging masses would choose not to believe, there is a staggering number of over 1500 2014 Stingrays still unsold, gracing Chevrolet dealers lots.  To put things in perspective, at the end of the first year of C6 production, there were only 260 cars remaining.  And in another perspective, this is about the same number of 2013 C6 Corvettes that remained unsold after introduction of the Stingray.  This number of currently unsold Stingrays certainly puts in perspective the sales success of the newest Corvette, GM and auto press continue to throw at the naïve general public.

Since the majority of these cars, at SEVENTY PERCENT, happen to be Stingrays equipped with automatic transmission, there is no doubt that Tadge Juechter himself contributed to this dark side of the claimed sales success of Stingray.

At the beginning of this year, Tadge Juechter has personally reassured all potential buyers that new automatic transmission would NOT be available on 2015 base Corvette and only the upcoming Z06 would get the new transmission.  As the date of 2015 model year approached, Juechter changed his story and announced that the eight speed automatic will indeed be available on 2015 Stingray.

Now, ideally, this announcement should be made after production of the current year stops and all produced cars are spoken for but this is not exactly possible, the overlap gave the buying masses ample time to back out of their purchase and wait it out for the next year, with the new transmission.

Those who fell to Juechter's new lie are certainly not happy campers, the used car lots literally littered with used Stingrays serve as a sad testimony to this part but even less happy are the dealers who got stuck with these turds, while taking orders on 2015 Stingrays and Z06 cars....

So what now?  The discounts that were hefty already will become even bigger, doing wonders to resale values of the cars suckers trusting Juechter bought previously.  One cannot happen but wonder what will be the next lie Juechter comes up with?  No doubt it will be something very creative, like super low drag coefficient or great Nurburgring time for the latest Corvette?  Come on Tadge, do what you do best so far, lie and make the buyers deal with the consequences.  LOL
